Desired outcomes:
- Provide clarity relative to long-held misconceptions about transaxillary breast augmentation
- Facilitate discussion around the ability to understand concepts and surgical technique that simplify application to breast augmentation, whether inframammary or transaxillary
- Address barriers that have prevented attendees from using the transaxillary approach as an added option for patients that seek breast augmentation
- Demonstrate how to use an endoscope and the nuances of technique that facilitate optimal visualization and control of tissue manipulation in creation of an implant pocket
- This course is intended to facilitate use of the transaxillary approach and will be of value to both those who have never tried the technique and those who have tried the approach and seek added information to facilitate its use on a more routine basis
