Accreditation Statement

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (The Aesthetic Society) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (The Aesthetic Society) designates this live activity for a maximum of 18.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ of which 10 are patient safety. Physicians would claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Attendees are invited to attend either symposium in full or mixed to maximize their educational experience.

  • Please note that attending exclusively the Facial and Rhinoplasty Symposium (without the cadaver lab) will provide 15.5 CMEs. To earn the maximum 18.5 CMEs in the Face and Rhinoplasty program, you must attend the optional cadaver lab on Friday afternoon, without which the maximum total is 15.5 CMEs.  
  • Attending exclusively the Breast and Body Symposium will provide 18.5 CMEs.

10 of the 18.5 credits have been identified as Patient Safety Credits (7 for the general session and 3 for the cadaver lab).


Maintenance of Certification/Continuous Certification

American Board of Surgery (ABS)

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirements of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.
