Special Note: You are eligible to register for this course without registering for S12A (Basic) ONLY if you attended The Aesthetic Society’s Nurse Injector Competence Training Course held in either Miami Beach (2021), San Diego (2022) or Miami Beach (2023).
Participation limited to RNs, NPs, and PAs practicing within their scope of practice under the direct supervision of a plastic surgeon.

Course Description
Designed for more advanced nurse, nurse practitioner and physician assistant injectors, this course provides participants the opportunity to review and discuss more advanced injection techniques with neuromodulators and an array of dermal fillers including HA and biostimulatory fillers. Included is an in-depth lecture on avoiding and managing complications with fillers. The faculty will review emerging uses with hyperdilute biostimulatory fillers Live patient demonstrations will wrap up the workshop.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the treatment of both HA filler nodules and non-HA filler nodules
  • Describe a vascular occlusion protocol for use when injecting dermal fillers
  • Describe advanced injection techniques with dermal fillers specific to product types, certain areas of the face/body, and combination therapy.
  • Describe the emerging uses of biostimulatory fillers in a dilute and hyperdilute state.
