This course will be a practical, clinically oriented, step by step guide to planning and performing a forehead lift.
Desired outcomes:
- Upon completion of this course participants should be able to plan and perform a forehead lift
- Discuss open (coronal) and closed (endoscopic) techniques
- Discuss closed (limited incision) non-endoscopic technique
- Review hairline lowering foreheadplasty technique
- Discuss the supraciliary eyebrow lift
- Review pre-operative analysis of the individual patient and the development of an appropriate surgical plan
- Plan incisions to minimize scars, hairline displacement and secondary deformitites
- Review clinically relevant anatomy important to surgical technique and avoiding complications
- Discuss sequencing forehead lift with other procedures
- Discuss anesthesia considerations if forehead lift surgery
- Review peri-operative care of the forehead lift patient
