107 The Hybrid Approach to "No-Touch" Belpharoplasty

This course will focus on lower eyelid blepharoplasty with the description of anatomical subsets and how to utilize the 8 step pre-operative evaluation in determining the surgical plans, particularly as relates to the hybrid I and hybrid II blepharoplasty.  Animation and video case studies of the procedures will accompany the discussion.
Desired outcomes:

• Identify the importance of doing the 8-step analysis on every pre-operative lower eyelid surgery
• Discuss when to utilize the hybrid I and hybrid II blepharoplasty based on anatomical findings
• Recognize the difference is between an “innie” and “outie” patient
• Evaluate when facial lipostructure is an integral part of blepharoplasty
• Discuss tips and pearls you can take away for eyelid surgery
