103 Facelifting – What Truly Matters

This course will provide information to maximize facial rejuvenation results using a combination of advanced facelift technique/technology based upon individualized analysis of the aging face.
Desired outcomes:

  • Describe the anatomic changes and role of the fat compartments in transforming modern facelift surgery and how this is used to provide long term natural results in facelift rejuvenation techniques
  • Analyze how to restore facial shape in the middle-aged patient and its importance on customizing facelift surgery
  • Identify a safe, algorithmic approach to lower lid support/shaping
  • Discuss the role of component facial rejuvenation, specifically endoscopic/temporal brow rejuvenation with an innovative approach to eyelid, mid-facial, and neck rejuvenation
  • Recognize how to blend and restore a youthful mid-face contour/shape with periorbital rejuvenation
  • Demonstrate an algorithmic approach to neck rejuvenation
  • Explain the role of simultaneous full-face laser-brasion using a dual mode laser to maximize safe skin texture improvement with a facelift
  • Evaluate how to avoid and manage complications of facelift surgery
  • Appraise the role of facial fillers, laser, skin care and facial rejuvenation
